Our Story
Kite Holdings was founded by a team with deep roots in financial services and East Africa's events industry. We spent years designing performance systems, loyalty programmes, and payment infrastructure at Kenya's leading financial institutions — and then turned that expertise toward an industry that had somehow escaped every technology upgrade.
Cash everywhere. Paper wristbands. Zero data. Organisers running blind. We built the solution ourselves. JasTap started as an NFC cashless payments system. It grew into a full operating stack — check-in, accreditation, gamification, and AI-powered event intelligence. Every product exists because a real organiser needed it and the right tool didn't exist.
Today, JasTap has powered 50+ events, processed 400K+ transactions, and is the operating layer behind some of East Africa's most demanding professional conferences and public events.

JasTap reaches event organisers two ways: direct sales and through venue partner programmes.
Direct
Event organisers engage Kite directly for their conference, festival, or corporate event. We scope, configure, and deploy within 48 hours. Full-service or self-service — organiser's choice.
Venue-Embedded
Venues — hotels, conference centres, resorts — bundle JasTap as a managed service offering. The venue handles the client relationship; JasTap runs as their technology layer. Organisers get a venue that already has the infrastructure in place.
