Our Story

Born From Real Experience

Kite Holdings was founded by a team deeply embedded in East Africa's events and entertainment industry. We saw firsthand how cash-dependent economies created friction — long queues, revenue leakage, zero data visibility, and frustrated attendees.

So we built the solution ourselves. Starting with JasTap — an NFC cashless payment system — we've grown into a full ecosystem of products that serve event organizers, hospitality brands, and enterprises across six countries.
