Our Story

Born From Real Experience

Kite Holdings was founded by a team deeply embedded in East Africa's events and entertainment industry. We saw firsthand how cash-dependent economies created friction — long queues, revenue leakage, zero data visibility, and frustrated attendees.

So we built the solution ourselves. Starting with JasTap Cashless — an NFC wristband payment system — we've grown into a modular event technology platform serving event organizers running conferences, festivals, exhibitions, and corporate events across East Africa.
